This feature ensures continuous full-motion recording at 30 frames per second (fps) to comply with gaming industry regulations. Casino Mode guarantees that the frame rate will not dip below 30 fps by forcing automatic bit rate and exposure control to maintain specific predetermined settings.

Los Angeles, CA (August 23, 2011) – Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, announces a new series of webinars to be presented to integrator customers every other month. The webinars will update integrators with inside information on new megapixel products and the tools available to promote them. The first Arecont Vision “Products and Programs Update” webinar was presented on July 20, and future webinars will be held twice per day on the third Wednesday of November, January, March and May at 8:30 a.m. PST (11:30 a.m. EST) and 4 p.m. PST (7 p.m. EST). The September sessions will be broadcast on the second Wednesday, September 14, due to the ASIS trade show the following week.

The new all-in-one AV20185DN SurroundVideo® camera is a cost-effective solution for applications where mechanical pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) devices might otherwise be used or where multiple cameras would be needed to view expansive coverage areas. The higher-resolution panoramic view of the new 20 megapixel/180-degree H.264 camera can be used to replace up to 65 conventional cameras.

The kick-off CPCP-Advanced session, Sept. 22-23 in Orlando, will include detailed education regarding IP network infrastructure and will cover topics such as the design and layout of megapixel systems, advanced setup and configuration, and troubleshooting.

The appointments include Waldemar Gollan as the new Regional Sales Manager covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Bo Oerbjerg to handle the Nordic region; Marc Wesley will be covering the U.K. and Ireland; and Aleksey Berezin will be the new Regional Sales Manager for Russia and other Commonwealth Independent States, as well as the Republic of Georgia.
