Arecont Vision Megapixel Cameras Protect MetLife Stadium

For the second time in three years, MetLife Stadium was ranked the #1 grossing stadium in the world by Billboard Magazine and #1 in North America all three years. Next year in February, MetLife is excited to have Super Bowl and the need of high security is very important. They love megapixel technology and wanted to cover every seat at a minimum of 40 pixels per foot. Many manufacturers came to them with different numbers of cameras to install, rather than a complete solution. On the contrary, Arecont Vision went on site, showed them what our cameras were abe to do and let them pick.

At first, we showed the 5MP solution, which can cover 75’ wide and provide 35 pixels per foot.

Then, we went higher resolution to 10MP:

In the end, MetLife picked the 10MP solution that covers 75’ wide and provides 48 pixels per foot, which is exactly what they want.

Arecont Vision MegaDome 2, SurroundVideo and MegaVideo cameras were installed outside and inside the stadium:

Outdoor Housing: HSG 2

Arecont Vision offers a smaller form factor and better performance.

  • Total POE – Eliminates the need for additional conduit and electrical wire runs and reduces total labor cost.
