Arecont Vision Appoints Vice President for Asia Pacific Region

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, today announced the appointment of Becky Zhou as Vice President, Asia Pacific. The new position is a promotion for Zhou, who had previously served as the company’s Regional Sales Director, APAC.

Ms. Zhou is a long-term employee with Arecont Vision and an established figure in the Asia Pacific region.  Her responsibility is to manage the growing staff of regional sales managers and the company’s sales representatives located in China, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan. In making the announcement, Scott Schafer, Executive Vice President, Arecont Vision commented on Ms. Zhou’s tireless efforts as an advocate of IP megapixel technology throughout the region.

“Becky is a natural choice for this position because of her dedication and proven leadership ability,” said Mr. Schafer. “Becky has a strong understanding of the security business in Asia and she is committed to leading the transition of the region’s security market from analog/VGA to Arecont Vision megapixel solutions.”
